Salam. *senyum sampai nampak gigi*
Time check...its 3.28am
Its exam time and I have three more papers to go. Supposedly busy with my revision at this very moment but I was doing something else. Had a 'surat permohonan' to do----done and an assignment portfolio to finish----yang ni masih dalam progress. hehe =p
So, I was just finished doing the letter and about to start doing research for my assignment *biasalah kalau sudah connected to internet memang cemani lah jadinya....buat kerja tapi banyakkkkkkkkk "iklan"* hahaha =p I was checking out the latest tweets and one of the tweets that I'm following shared a story. Dipendekkan cerita, its a good story and I want to share it here. Credits to IslamicThinking (you can follow them by clicking on the name). Here we go....
"This evening's story is called: Starfish
Once a man was walking along a beach. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.
Off in the distance he could see a person going back and forth between the surf's edge and the beach. Back and forth this person went. As the man approached, he could see that there were hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand. There had been a storm and as the result of the storm they had been thrown onto shore. The man was stuck by the apparent futility of the task. There were far too many starfish. Many of them were sure to perish. As he approached, the person continued the task of picking up starfish one by one and throwing them into the surf.
As he came up to the person, he said:
"You must be crazy." "There are thousands of miles of beach covered with starfish. You can't possibly make a difference."
The person looked at the man for a moment. He then stooped down and pick up one more starfish and threw it back into the ocean. He turned back to the man and said:
"To THAT one, it made a difference...."
Moral: Small things can make big changes/impact. A little good goes a long way...."
Sooooooo.......
For some of you, maybe you've heard the story. But personally it's the first time I've read it. I'm happy knowing that there are a lot of people who share similar thoughts.
I admit I have not been a good muslim and I admit yang diri ni pun bukan nya sempurna, kadang (atau mungkin lebih dari kadang2.hehe) hati ni penuh dengan rasa marah/benci/dendam dan sewaktu denganya lah. Nama pun manusia biasakan....
But over the years I have to admit that I fall in love with OPTIMISM. Sometimes it feels like I've preached it like its my second religion.
"when we do some things with good intention and sincerity, regardless of how small and tiny it is, we've made the world a better place for someone or something".
Why I share the story?
Maybe there are times when u do good things with good intentions BUT you feel like no one care, no one appreciates. Even worst, some may make fun of you, mocked you for what you did. Saying that it's not cool being or doing good. IGNORE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Never regret!!!!! Never feel ashamed of yourself and keep on doing all the good things you feel like doing.... Allah maha mengetahui, so even though urang lain tidak peduli kebaikan yang awda buat, Allah tahu segalanya dengan terperinci. Jadi jangan pernah berhenti ok..... ^^,
Just remember a little good goes a long way.
Just a piece of mind from someone who is still in the journey of soul searching & self discovery...
Ok lah, need to continue buat research. Have a good day later alright!!!!!
Salam ^_^
